St. Francis Soup Kitchen

Christ Child parish provides outreach for those in need in our mountain community and the Santa Cruz area.  

The Holy Cross chapter of St. Vincent de Paul Society has an ongoing need for nutritious, non-perishable food such as peanut butter, beans,  tuna, canned meats, and other wholesome foods.  

The St. Francis Soup Kitchen serves lunch Monday through Friday to Santa Cruz people in need. We learned that our recent donation of $76 served 70 meals. The facility includes a "Clothes Closet" which provides clothing for men and women.  It also provides a place for homeless people to shower.
